While I never met grandma June in person, I talked with her a lot over letters. I loved receiving her letters in the mail.
Below is a card she sent on Wyatt and my anniversary in 2024. It was so thoughtful of her to send this. I’m going to put it out every year as a decoration during Halloween.
Also is a photo of our dog Meridian who we adopted a few years ago. I sent her this Polaroid with a letter and she kept it all these years. We also sent her a Polaroid from our wedding, which she put in this cute frame. Janet and Larry found these after she passed and gave them back to us. We keep the Polaroid on our white board at home and the frame on one of our cabinets. I think about grandma June whenever I see these.
I will miss getting her letters and giggling when I felt how heavy the envelope was, knowing she included a Daily Bread.
